No. I really don't like city names for children.

I actually considered this as a middle name for my daughter. My middle name is Brooke and my mom's middle name is Lynn. In the end, I decided against it. I thought of Brooklyn, NY every time I heard it, and that really wasn't a place I wanted my daughter named after, or that I wanted to think of when I said my daughter's name. It does sound really great, though. If the idea of Brooklyn, NY doesn't bother you, than I say use it. If you're not too sure about naming your daughter the same name as a city, then I'd look for something else.

I like the name, but Brooklyn is becoming a really common name. If you are okay with your little girl being Brooklyn 1 or Brooklyn 2, then go for it.

Yes I do. Brooke and Brooklyn are both pretty names. I like Brooklyn because you can still add another name rather than just using Brooke Lynn.

My name is Brooke, and a lot of people call me Brooklyn because they think that it is my full name. However, it's not lol. I don't mind, because I really do like the name.

I also know a little girl named Brooklyn and she is so sweet.

I think it's a great name!

No, I like Brooke, but for some reason I can't stand the name Brooklyn, probably because it evokes thoughts of the city. I've never been there, but my impression of it based on things I've heard are that it's dirty and crime-ridden. I have no idea if that's true or not.

I love the names Jessalyn & Savanna Rose

Maybe it's just Victoria's son, but when I think Brooklyn, I think boy (even though the "lyn" ending is a girl thing)....
How about these cities (very cute names):
Sydney
London

Congratulations!!

I think Brooklyn is a fine name. As long as you're referring to a city in New York. Don't name her that!
