Are you married? Are they going to be happy to become grandparents? I'd give it to them as their dessert!

if you can make it to the resturant before his parents you can give them the m&ms and tell them for desert you want 4 servings of icecream with the m&ms on top and suprise them that way. Or something along those lines. Most resturants will do something special if you ask, maybe even let everyone order desert and just put the m&ms on the plate. Good luck let us know how it turns out.

Talk to the waiter, or waitress, and have them give them the bottles instead of their drinks, they will be very confused at first but i'm sure they will catch on! and it will be really funny too! LOL i hope this is what you were looking for! good luck
Brandie
P.S. i'm also 6 wks and 5days and i was reading what everyone else wrote...if you honestly think that they will be thrilled then you might want to do it at the begining like i stated b/c then you will have something to talk about all through dinner! and everyone will be excited! once again good luck and let us know how it goes!

Before the dinner comes out, have the waiter bring out the baby bottle with the drinks you order. Have him give it to your mother. She will be THRILLED!!!!!! Good luck!

Two thoughts, I'm not saying there great, but something that may work.
1. If you arrive before them, put them on the table where they'd be sitting.
2. Take your purse with you to the bathroom & ask your server to bring them out after your meal.

The M&M's sound like a good idea. I would tell them at dinner and look them in there face to see their expression. You will be just fine.
