I find this question no more strange then some others I have seen and some on here seem to take great joy in attacking one based on their question. Could it be the son was concerned and asked the parent if it was normal. I am not seeing where the parent actually looked but it's possible the boy asked this to the parent. I have read many answers and it seems some people could use a lesson in TACT, and diplomacy. Instead of pointing at the parent explore the question further and offer positive insight as the parent might be asking for their son. I am both a parent and many times my son has asked me things and I have searched with him on the net for answers. Instead of Judging one person on what they ask try to explore the possible reasons he or she asked. God Bless you all, in counseling I don't pass judgment when asked but rather as a minister I try to probe for the complete problem and offer advise never condemning someone who is hurting or asking a question or searching for answers.

the human body is not perfectly symmetric (male of female). for ladies, one breast may be a little bigger than the other or "sit" slightly higher. If your son is just entering puberty, it could be that one testicle still has not "dropped" completely. If there is only an inch in difference, it could go unnoticed by anyone not looking for a difference. If you notice other problems develope, or simply want to know for sure about this one, talk to a doctor about it. Also, see waht your son thinks about consulting a doc. he may be embarassed about it. Don't worry yet, just be cautious.

In almost all men the left testicle hangs lower, sometimes by several inches. This is perfectly normal. You and your son have nothing to worry about. Some of the others who have replied do though. Since when does observing a son's testicles equate with incest?

it might desire to be some thing noted as a varicocele, that's only an expansion of the veins interior the testicle. it might desire to reason a lump to seem and discomfort interior the area. no count number if it is, it is going to bypass via itself no subject. get him to double examine for a lump, provide the antibiotics time to artwork (7 days approx) if no progression, get lower back to customary practitioner and ask for a testicular test. If the rfile tries to fob you off, factor out that he's on the top age for testicular maximum cancers and you like a test. Dont go away the rfile until you get a test taken care of, I lost an fairly stable buddy at a similar age using customary practitioner no longer referring him for scans. Its constantly suited to be risk-free than sorry, yet keep in mind that its plenty extra possibly to be a varicocele than something mroe sinister. each and every of the suited, sorry if i scared you, yet its extra clever to examine those issues out totally. xxxxxx

I don't know..that's a little weird. Wow, he's 14 and just now hitting puberty..that's the same age as me and pretty much all the guys at my school already have (I think)...but I know some people hit it later than others.

Testicles are ALWAYS off-set. If they weren't, there would be
intense pain every time he put his knees together. Off-set,
one passes over the other to allow freedom of movement
without pain. That condition with your son is NORMAL, and
there's nothing you need to do!!

nothing...it is normal...both testicles hang at different heights so that they can lay in tandem and not side by side and bump into each other every time he takes a step
