No its not. You need to see your doctor asap. Bleeding should not last much past 6 weeks or so. You are at twice that.

I dont think its normal... what did your doctor say on your 6 week check up? If you started taking birthcontrol pills then that might be it. I went to my 6 week check up and then I started the pill and I was bleeding on and off for about 2 months but you should go back to the doctor though thats too much!

i don;t think its normal i've had my baby three and a half months ago and i bled for seven weeks stopped for about two weeks and then had my period. So i think you should go see your doctor. but then i had my by c-section. i don't know if that makes a difference or not

yes it is normal my sister bleed for 6 months and when we took her to the hospital the doctor told her that her body is still trying to clean its self out from when she had the baby.

Not very normal, if it's spotting I wouldnt worry but if it's heavy bleeding at least call your doctor and talk to the nurse. GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS

There may be a patch of placenta still there, although not yet infected, you really need to get yourself checked out. I bled for months after my last baby was born, they thought it may have been placental tissue, but it turned out to be a deep uterine infection.

This is not normal- please see your doctor....I had the exact same thing happen to me. I had to have a mild something abrasion that moreless burned up the old tissue and then a D&C to irregate. No trouble since....they said I would probably not have a menstral cycle ever again...not so.
