He injured his spinal column. He might be returning this season.

He is recovering from multiple major injuries. He is going to try to come back this year but I highly doubt that will happen. If he can come back and play 12-15 plays per game near the level he was at when he was injured, the Chiefs offense will be a dangerous machine again.

I was just talking about that the other day. He's still on the roster. He wants to make a comeback next year, but his career is likely over. Sad stuff. I really liked the guy.
