There are very few mountains of any real significance in northern Asia. In bulk, height, and extent, south Asia easily wins that contest: from Turkey in the southwest through the Zagros of Iran to the Hindu Kush and Pamirs of the ~Stans and up into the Himalayas, after which mountains continue all the way down the Malay Peninsula and all over Southeast Asia (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam).
