me and my 2 best friends are going 2 perform in a talent show whos auditions are april 2. we really need a good song that is in the alto range. we really want to win so make it a good one! by the way we are 14 and in the 8th grade, also we like upbeat songs. thanks so much!

You could do something from Wicked, like "What is this Feeling?" Those songs are pretty upbeat.
Or you could do "Seasons of Love" from Rent. It's not as upbeat, but it'd be pretty easy for a trio to sing.
Show tunes in general are great for a group that size...

well considerinf your age and grade why don't u do soemthing from High School Musical. You could Ashely Tisdale or they a sone from the opening act i forget the artist who did it but she was on Much on Demand today. Or if you want you to inpress your teachers you could do a Heart Cover, Sarah McClaughun, Allanis Morrisate, um yeah they those., Heart is a classic rock band thir major hit is barracuda.

waaay back in HS my friends and I once did "Boogie woogie bugle boy" and even got a convinced one of the trumpeters to open the song for us (laugh all you want, its a blast to sing). The voices might be SSA tho. Talk to your music director at your school, he may be able to give you a good direction based on your vocal talents. Good luck!!!
