I have recently been like being a "big sister" to this 9 year old. She is having her spring pictures tomorrow and I am supposed to help her pick out an outfit. I want to know if the headband is gonna be to much with the black and brown together!!! Please help me!!!

i dont like it at all. i would change the color from brown to something bright and girly.. she is taking spring pictures. and plus the leggings thing is going out of style.

For a nine year old girl, I think the best outfit would be something simple and classic- dont go overboard with hair accesories because they are always regretted when people look back on it. Try a simple headband maybe a thin one, a light blue if she is light haired and a white if she is darker haired. Then have her wear a cute pair of jeans with some playful tennis shoes. Dont put her in a brown shirt with brown tights- its cruel. The jean skirt could even be cute without tights and with a pair of tennis shoes and a white t-shirt. Depending on her personality, you could play it up. If she is very girly, give her a couple bracelets and a necklace. If she is a tomboy give her a hooded sweatshirt. If she is a little rock star- make her look cool. Let her make some decisions for it.

Yes, I think the black and white striped head band will be too much of a contrast with brown tee and brown leggins. The rest of the outfit sounds good though, so if you wanted the effect of pulling her hair back, why not try a brown barette or something?

The headband is great looks good but i think it- would
go better with full black,full white or black and white no brown leggings could be black with a white skirt love the idea good luck.

The head band would be a good idea but in an earth tone color to match the brown and denim, the black and white will clash.

eeewww.brown. get her a black shirt. then wear the headband and try to find red tights. red looks bad in pictures, so a red shirt would be bad. and make sure it's a solid color shirt. a loud print won't look as good as solid.
at this point, brown is for shoes and middle aged women.

the spring pictures usually have really drab looking backgrounds...this year at my school u stood in front of this picture of a moldy brick wall....ewww......i think that brighter colors like white, light pink, light blue, ect. look better. dont let her wear brown becuz dark colors dont really look good. i wore pink
