Good evening from the uk

Right so I understand you seem to haver a diver issue with your Samsung 2Gb flash drive.
Sadly you failed to mention the following.

What operating system you are using
If your system still recognises the drive

So here is what I think the problem is:

If you are using an operating system below Windows xp, you need to download some drivers. Now normally the flash drive will come with a small cd, an installation disk of drivers that you need to install. if you lost the disk no worry - the following flash driver can be downloaded here:
http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=336212

If you have windows xp, you may consider downloading the driver anyway it may help. As far as I am aware the download is safe, but you may consider creating a system restore point just to be safe.

Right the only issue of concern is the flash drive seems to now contain no data or system what so ever. In this case I would contact the manufactures or indeed Samsung and I am sure they can send you the details.

I hope this helps
If you require further help by all means please email me using the link in my profile, I respond within 24 hours.

all of it factors to a nasty flashpersistent. it ought to have a ninety day assure on it from the Mfg. and also you've gotten to the contact them promptly yet i'd start up on the region your offered thepersistent. The mightypersistent also has some courses on it to attend to information and grant safe practices. in case you formatted thepersistent, those ought to disappear or they could be repopulated after a couple of minutes of thepersistent being appropriate to the workstation. If it has a UDPV233.exe or something similar on it. attempt operating that software. yet in case you had it up and dealing effective for a even as and it really is now busted.... it really is busted. Take it again in the ninety day assure (it will be a three hundred and sixty 5 days on mfg. disorder too).
