Could I say that the pictures are places she visited and mention her name?

No restrictions.

As she's dead you can't even libel her (only applies to the living). There's no legal restriction on using her name, or the characters come to that.

It would be best if you had some evidence that it was true, but you could even lie to your heart's content, nobody could do a thing. (Not that I think you'll do that, just making the point.)

ask her estate. tht is d legal owners of her copyright. she has a child.
