well, i play hockey and i have been playing since i was 4. I learned that when i was in mites and i have gotten better every year. I love to put snow on my whole friends leg in open skate. But it depends on your skill level. It took me to stop 1 year so i would say maybe 3 months if u pratice everyday because u will get better.

When i started at age 6, it took me years to learn the hockey stop. I was snowplowing until about age 10. But a good friend of mine started at age 14.... but she is still working on the hockey stop after about a year. I would suggest to just keep trying, and never give up!

If you have your own skates maybe 2 or 3 public sessions so 6 hours of ice time tops to be able to do a hockey stop on your strong side. It takes quite a bit longer to learn to stop as well on your weak side also it's hard to learn to stop on rental skates because they are usually really old and wornout and you never get the same pair twice so you never get used to the feel of the skates.

Well if your asking about a hockey stop im guessing u have hockey skates, so thats good. I still cant do a perfect hockey stop and ive been playing for about a year..I can do one really well..but its not pro material. But everyone learns differently.

I didnt start skating until I was 18yo, and it took me several weeks of open skating, probably around 40 hours. I was teaching myself, and only getting help from people that were cool enough, or just felt sorry for my stupid ***, that they gave me some advice. But now, I am 37yo, and can still only stop good to the right. I still struggle stopping to the left, but every once in a while, I can do it. Good luck with it, once you get it, keep doing it over and over, until it becomes second nature.

purely cook dinner despite you think of is best for them and have them consume it, tell them they'd desire to sit down down on the table until they have eaten 4 bites of each and every little thing, and then they are in a position to leave yet they cant have the rest that evening except they clean their plate. purely giving them food that they prefer will instruct them undesirable ingesting conduct and undesirable manners (they'll look rather rude whilst they bypass to a pals abode as a customer and refuse to consume what they're served and whinge approximately it). im 17 and those are the regulations i grew up with and the regulations i be conscious to my cousins that i preserve in many circumstances and the youngsters i babysit, because of the fact it taught me that frequently you will desire to consume issues that dont flavor impressive because of the fact they're right for you, a bad flavor wont harm them however the severe ldl cholesterol, severe blood tension, weight problems, and diabetes they get from a bad food regimen will.

Everyone learns at a different pace, just keep practicing until you get it right. There's no specific number.
