I just wondering who are "WE"?
anyway as for us its
Gedo for grandfather
Tita for grandmother
with no difference between maternal and paternal.
and there is also Gogo and tata (in my son's dictionary,lol)

There is no specific word for maternal vs paternal grandparrents both sides are called the same thing.
Gido = Grandfather
Giditi= Grandmother
another term is Teta which is another word for grandmother which still applies to both maternal and paternal.
There is a maternal/paternal difference when talking about aunts and uncles though.
