What did Yankee Fans mean by that term in 2004 when they were yelling it a Pedro? Anyone know?

YANKEES2 has the perfect answer. Pedro struggled against the Yankees all year, and gave that infamous quote.
Interestingly enough, after the Sox made history with the greatest comeback in the history of sports to win the series 4-3, Pedro's new quote was...
"I think the Yankees should worry about Who's their Big Papi"...

Pedro told the media something along the lines of him calling the Yankees his daddy. I remember the back page of the new York post when the Yankees were thinking about acquiring Pedro, it read, "COME TO PAPA".

Pedro was suffering from a condition caused by too much Jeri-Curl. It caused him, and his already bad english to say "the Yankee are my daddy".
But not many people know this, but what he really said was "My wallet is padded", in reference to the fact that he is rich, and need not beat the Yankees to acheive happiness, as he is loaded.
