ok i bought a new v.92 modem and i can search online fine but when i try to play any pc games the modem will click and kicks me offline so i have to reboot in order to get back online when i reboot a error says windows has just recovered from a critical error ,device conflict i thought it could have been driver conflicts but nothing is conflicting says everything is normal.? anyone have a clue cause im running low on ideas, ps my modem is a usrobotics V.92 pci faxmodem

it's probably an IRQ problem check what IRQ your modem using and what else uses that IRQ

i would have thought dial up is too slow to play games and it kicks you off when the modem cant handle the traffic coming through it
