if you just look at a website or a book, you won't be able to do them right.
you need someone to physically teach you.
if you try, with no instruction whatsoever, you will get it wrong, && then it will be one of your bad habits throughout your life.
trust me, i'm a dancer =]
you should go sign up for classes.

try the american ballet theatre's website. they have a glossary with ballet moves and some of them have videos.

I would recommend going to abt.com and clicking on their dictionary. They have defintions of ballet steps and some videos of steps being performed.

all you need to do is watch flashdancer..(you can also learn to weld by watching the same movie)
