The *67 is if you wish to call someone and don't want your # seen....if you want to block a call so you don't recieve it
this really depends on what type of phone you have like almost all LG on verizon are not able to to block... other models allow you to restrict you calls to "Contacts" do that for a day or two they may get the picture then change back don't want to miss anyone who may not be in your phone book antoher soltion besides changing your # b/c that's $15 for that is to set whoever call to the ringtone "no ring" so you are not disturbed to pick up your phone I have done this one becasue I have the LG 9800 ...
