A blizzard is a severe winter storm (with wind, snow, and freezing temperatures) or a yummy ice cream treat found at Dairy Queen.

I'm not sure what this has to do with amusement parks though, unless you're talking about Disney's Blizzard Beach in Florida....

a blizzard is pretty much a huge snowstorm. the way u can tell if it's a blizzard or a snowstorm is that blizzards have freezing temperatures, roaring winds and heavily blowing snow. blizzards happen when high air pressure interacts with low air pressure, causing the advection (or horizontal blowing) of air.

A tasty ice cream concoction made by Dairy Queen. It usually involves mixing soft serve ice cream and several different toppings together in a paper cup using the same machine they use to make milkshakes. Supposedly they're thick enough that if you turn the cup upside down it will stay in place.

Otherwise, it's a large snowstorm that can last for several days and usually dumps at least a foot of snow on the ground. But we usually call them nor'easters where I come from (New England... We're having one right now!).
