The legend goes that St. Patrick rid Ireland of snakes and there are no snakes in Ireland, and thats a fact. Plenty of frogs.

Yes, on both counts. Legend says that St. Patrick kicked all the snakes out of Ireland to rid the country of evil (kicking the Brits out would have been a better way to go about that), and while it is true that for some time there were no snakes in Ireland, they have since been introduced.

ireland is one of the few areas in the world that do not have snakes (native) to their area. the others would be the arctic and antarctic, and greenland, frogs, Im not sure to be honest with you.... but have never read anything about it.....
