Exactly how retro do you want to go. Are we talking 10, 20, 30 years? Give us a clue?

Back in the 60's, we didn't go to cafe/restaurants, it was drive ins, or soda shops, or bars. Usually we just cruised thru the parking lots to see who was with who, one of the songs I remember my sister playing was called At the Hop, and there was one about dead mans curve that had a restaurant in it.

retro means old fashioned but usually a term for a modern artist i would play richard cheese funny as funk
