What is the ohio law on working a double shift? MY understanding is that you cannot do it.?

OK I am not sure on what the actual law and what it reads But I know that I have worked several double shifts for a job and have never once been in trouble or seen anything that states I can't work a double my old job had several people that worked doubles in order for them to be able to get there hours so I don't think it's illegal

I live in Bama so I have no idea, but if you make overtime why not just work the double?
