War is always the final option and the war in Iraq is the culmination of over 12 years of U.N. negotiation, sanctions, and demands. Hussein was a geonocidal tyrant, an expansionist dictator who refused to "play well with others" in the region.
The U.S. government is not in any "invasion mode", they are in a "protect U.S. interests mode"

Instead of whining about the political climate, you should become more involved. True change can only come from within.

They didn't jump into invasion mode! They simply didn't cowar into a corner and let the terroists hit us some more. It's not that we love war. We just have to pick up all the peices after the Democrats have been in power too long! The terroists attack when a Republican gets into office because they know we have balls and don't run home crying to mommy! Stupid Liberals!!!!!!

I have to chalk it up to the fog of war. We were already at war, so another war on the barbee I guess.

You have kind of a mixed question here. I think it's the Democrats who like to see the Republicans go to war. I rather think Bush was not smart enough to overcome Clinton and Kerry's recommendations on the subject. Maybe he did like war and that just added to his determination that it was right.

With the middle east as it was on September 11th 2001; all Americans with the IQ of a toaster wanted a change in the Middle East. The president has worked to bring that change. However, many people have a mental disorder and think it is OK to leave the Middle East as it is and not worry about the possibility of a future attack.

Well in my opinion I am kind of glad the war is in Iraq. Think of it. If the president were to bring all the troops back the people in Iraq will come here and start blowing buildings up and stuff. Like 9/11
