When giving birth? Yes if your smoking during the birth of your baby will give you problems. Playing Nintendo may also be a problem when giving birth. You mean when your pregnant?
Stress
Drugs
Not eating
Low Iron Levels
Being hit by husband
Accidents
Not sleeping
bladder infections
Any type of infections
Medications that may harm your child
Over the Counter medication that may harm your child.
The Flu
The list can go on forever. Keep with your appointments and I personally think that stress can definitely be very harmful. If you dont smoke or drink or do drugs, you really dont have much to worry about. Like I said, keep up with your doctor visits. If you dont go to the doctors, I suggest you seek gov. assistant.
ETC.

It's easier to give birth if you're in better shape, so if you're pregnant you should be doing light exercise like walking or swimming. You should also eat healthily so your baby will be healthy.
Smoking and drinking don't actually give you problems giving birth...they give the baby problems with weight (from smoking) and mental and physical development (alcohol). But the birth wouldn't be any different. Maybe you need to rephrase this? I'm not sure if I understood your question.

Lack of exercise will make it harder in a way. But don't over do it...a nice walk around the block every day is great.
you need to be healthy physically as well as mentally to help bring baby into the world.
Eat well, stay happy, laugh and enjoy your pregnancy.
