It's possible. You never know what these TV exec's are doing behind the scenes. I do know that my cousin who is an awesome singer was denied entry to the preliminary judges this season because she wasn't acting crazy, obnoxious or wild. American Idol is looking for great talent, but they also want to entertain us with weirdos who can't sing to save their lives. That's why I know it's slightly unfair.

Sometimes I think it is because they keep taking off the good singers and keeping on the ones that need to go. I've been watching American Idol for like 4 years and every year it has happen when someone goes off and they are really good.

Not at all..unless you consider who has more family/friends to vote for them to be rigged. To me its basically a popularity contest and who knows more people and how many of those people you know are dedicated to you enough to vote over and over all night each week.
