Well if you are true friends then none of that stuff really matters and you are there to help each other with WHATEVER each of you need... it is really childish to act this way towards a "friend"... FYI you spelled some words wrong ( congratulate and knows are the correct spelling of those words)

She might be a true friend, but she isn't a good one. If you /really/ want to be friends with her, you could try and gently point out the things that bother you. If she responds negatively, you'll know that she probably isn't the best person to be pals with. If she's apologetic and regretful, stick around with her a while longer. You might find her to be a different person once you talk things out. G'luck!

No she's not a true friend. It sounds like she's jealous of u. People like her will do anything to get ahead. If I were u, I wouldn't trust her. A true friend would b happy for u no matter what! She's just a hater! And if u were a true friend, u would tell her about herself......n a nice way tho :-)

Well yes I guess, just because she doesn't congratulate you doesn't mean she is not a friend, it sounds like she is just so into her accomplishment that she doesn't take time to notice yours. This is certainly not good, but I am not sure it rules them out as a friend.
If she is always trying to beat you, perhaps she is insecure and feels that she needs to be better at something for you to be her friend.
Good luck.

Doesn't sound like it. Tell her how you feel and if she continues to behave the way she's behaving right now, she doesn't deserve your friendship. In the same token, I wouldn't hold it over her head that you're smarter and whatnot; I'm sure she feels bad enough about that.

No find someone else to hang out with. It sounds like your friend is high maintenance, jealous, and looks at you as competition.

My cousin does that to me all the time. Honestly, I ignore it. She is spoiled rotten anyway. She maybe a friend, but not a best friend. I would talk to her. After all, thats what friends do.

mo! cause friendship isn't about being a competition with one another and true friends really shouldn't be jealous of each other!
