My only pipe just broke. This is a Greek tragedy because there are no head shops where I live...........I'm all too familiar with the aluminum can and apple ideas........what else you got?

Do you like gravity? Get a small bottle and cut a few good sized holes in the bottom (don't cut off the entire bottom). Get a bigger bottle and cut the top. Now with the smaller bottle, take the cap and cut a hole in it. Now use duct tape (or black electrical tape) and tape a socket on top of it. Use one that is about the same size as the cap. Inside the socket place a screen, you can find one under your faucet. Place the tobacco in the bowl, screw the cap on the bottle. Fill the large bottle with water (but not too much). Light the tobacco, and pull the small bottle up. The smoke will get sucked down into the smaller bottle. Now, unscrew the cap, and push the small bottle down slowly as you inhale. Do this if you have a lot of tobacco, because it burns it A LOT quicker!

In fact, before you fire up the tobacco, make sure the suction is good... You might need a carb, I can't remember... But I don't think you do...... I forgot.

I had a friend who made a pipe out of legos (some outer space edition)... It worked great too... He used aluminum foil for the bowl.. Aluminum foil works great!

Go to the drug store Rite-Aid, etc. They sell tobacco pipes cheap. (Like the Sherlock Holmes kind). They also have papers for making your own cigarettes.

16 oz plastic bottle
clear plastic tubing from hardware store.
aluminum foil
nail
scissors
lighter
pencil

With a hot nail make small hole 1/3 down from the top
With the same hot nail on the opposite side make a larger hole almost half way from the bottom
Insert plastic tubing through the larger hole down to the bottom of the bottle leaving 1" coming out.
Take the aluminum foil and fold it in half and half again so it is 4ply. Form the foil around a pencil with an eraser. Trim the foil to about 3/8". Place foil cup in the plastic tubing and fold over edge. With that same nail poke a 1/32" hole in the bottom of the cup.
Fill 1/3 the way with water.

You have a Home Made Water Tobacco Pipe.

The PVC section at the hardware store is also very good..

Check out the copper pipe at your hardware store. Screens are in the plumbing section too. Get a spin style pipe cutter. you can either use a straight piece and bend it or use pressure couplings to make any design you choose. You might end up with a little side job if there's a market there on Jupiter. Also, check out your town's import stores- places that sell incense or tie-dye or counterculture stuff. They often have 'employee only' areas.

Roll alum. foil around a pencil. Slide the pencil almost all of the way out. Bend at about 90 deg. It should look, and smoke like a pipe. It is disposable also, for when the tobacco police show up.

Take an old cardboard tube from toilet paper, or wrapping paper, etc., then cut a hole where you want the bowl to be; line the whole thing with aluminum foil, and make a depression with the foil in the hole you've cut for the bowl. Poke some tiny holes in the newly created bowl with a pin or needle (or even a fork tine), and voila, you have a little steamroller.
That's my two cents for ya.

Went through the can and apple already eh? Well the cheapest and fastest is to use some aluminum foil. Roll it up into a tube and then "bend up" one of the ends. Pack it up on the end bend up, and smoke out of the other. Careful it gets hot real fast, but it also cools down very quickly. Efficient, quick, cheap, and easily accessible. Enjoy your wee - I mean tobbaky.

When I was back in the good days I used to get a corn cob pipe for 15 cents (no filter). There is no reason you can't make one. a dried corn cob will give you enough material for three pipes. There are various materials available for making different stems of different shapes and sizes. (General MacArthur's pipe used a whole half a cob).
Have fun ! ! !
