I have read that if Mike Vick isn't productive next season that the falcons will think of replacing him with Matt Schaub. This season is considered the test for Mike Vick. With this though the coaches will allow, for the first time, Mike to call his own plays from the line of scrimmage. So What do ya'll think will happen because of this?

I think one of Vick's problems is that he is not very good at reading defenses naturally calling his own plays wont work if he cant do that but if when he does learn boy will that be dangerous. He has a fairly strong arm and he would be more accurate if there were guys that could actually catch the ball and then his running ability, man thats ingredients for a superbowl run. A few things have to happen first.

1) The Falcons have to get better on defense
2) The WR's need to learn to catch the ball
3) Vick needs to learn to atleast look for an open man before he takes off running
4) Coaches need to stop forming there playbooks around Vick, maybe making him learn to play like a traditional QB could make him break his bad habits.

Well, he'll prove that it doesn't matter what offensive system he's under, he can't hack it as a top tier NFL QB. Eventually he will fade away into obscurity and be spit out the bottom of the gay porn industry. JK. Matt Schaub will be leading that team if Vick doesn't play well this year. The Falcons could get really good trade value for Schaub but they don't want to get rid of him because they don't hacve full faith that Vick can be productive and lead them back to the playoffs.

New coach, new offense, no recievers, same Michael Vick.... He's a running back not a qb.....He will never be able to win..Matt Schaub should be the starter....I predict the Falcons will be around 7-9... Vick will throw maybe 13 tds and 15 ints and rush for around 900 yards.....

Let Vick call his own plays from the line of scrimmage!!??!? Vick can't even make an intelligent decision about what to do on a night out with his posse!

Vick will never ever ever ever move to RB. After he fails this year, the Falcons will trade him. And yes, someone will want him. Maybe the Packers, Panthers, or Raiders (if they don't take Russell). The guy is finally getting the credit and respect he deserves. Which is very little. If he starts calling his own plays, he should rush for 1200 yds or so.

He's still going to be horrible....he's got no wide recievers and all he does is run the damn ball. I thought he was going to be cut already but seriously next season will be the ultimate test for Vick.

i don't know how many qbs could be good through all of the coaching changes that team has been through but i think he should be fine. if his wr will hold onto the ball a little better, they could make a run at the playoffs considering the current state of the NFC

This will be the last we'll hear of Mike Vick he'll end up getting cut although he might make the news later on for being pulled over drunk and smoking weed.

They're going to let him call his own plays? They had to throw out most of their playbook to try not to confuse him. We're talking about a guy with room temperature IQ here guys.

The fact that he is still a qb amazes me.I would make him earn the job in camp against Schaub. If he cant handle that, make him return kicks.
