family together. Tuesday night, His ex from about 8 months ago, called him and said that she had just had THEIR baby. He didnt even know she was pregnant. He wants to be a father to his kids and take responsibility for his actions but she said that the only way he can see his little girl is if he leaves me. She says she loves him and she wants them to be a family. I sat with him last night and watched him cry for three hours because of how unfair this situation seems. We really dont want to lose each other but that seens like it is the only choice we have. She is riding a bus here tomorrow from Florida and Neither one of us know how to handle the situation. PLEASE HELP!

She is just playing games, he should get a DNA test and file for visitation or partial custody. He can be a father and not be with her. You two are in love and planning a wedding, you should just move on together don't let her games stop you two from being happy

Did he break up with her? If he did it sounds like this is her way of trying to win him back. A paternity test is a must! He should not go back to her just because he is the father of her baby if he doesn't love her. If the two of you are as close as you say you are and planning on getting married then you should make this decision together. If a paternity test proves he is the father then she can't keep him from seeing the child. He can play a role in the child's life even if he doesn't marry the mother. This situation will take time before it is fully resolved, but you should decide together, this doesn't have to be the end of your relationship.

First off, make sure there is a paternity test done. He needs proof the kid is his before he goes any further. Secondly, it will be very hard for her to deny visitation once fatherhood is determined. Courts do believe that a father has rights, and they also believe that children need to see their fathers. So, after paternity is established, go to court for visitation rights. There will be nothing she can do, he can still see his daughter, you two can still be together, and all will turn out fine.

she can't decide on that... he can take her to court because he has all the right to be the father of that child... the law will most likely be on his side since she didn't even tell him that she was pregnant and now she's trying to use the baby to get what she wants... it's call child manipulation in easy terms and it's def against the law! so tell him not to worry and go to court with this and get the custody of the baby or at least the right to see his daughter when he feels like it....

Wow.
I have serious doubts about this woman's sanity or her ability to raise her children given the way that she informed the (supposed) father.
What she did was terribly reckless and irresponsible. It's obvious that she is a very selfish person and is using a child as a weapon. I doubt that she really loves him. If she did, then WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL HIM SHE WAS PREGNANT?????
My advice, for what it's worth, is for him to stand up to this woman and demand why she didn't tell him. He is doomed to a terrible marriage if he gets back with this woman.
The sad thing is that the child is the loser in this whole situation.

1st, your boyfriend needs to take a parentnity test to determine if this baby is actually his. He doesn't want to be taken for a ride, and the timing of the break-up, pregnancy, etc is wish-washy.
In addition, your boyfriend can go to court and plead for custodial visits, etc with his child. If he is given visitations the baby's mother will be forced by law to let your boyfriend see his child.
My advice to you is to get a good lawyer involved.

First and foremost, a paternity test needs to be taken and proven that thhis IS his child. Second, once the proof is there, he needs to take her a s s to court. He can see his daughter, if it is his, without him leaving you. The court will grant him visitation rights. What ever crap she gives you guys tell her she is not getting your man. He has rights. Just because he has a child with her that does not make him have to go back to her. What does he want? Does he want to stay with you? Tell him he can stay with you and be able to see his daughter. I would have the court get DNA testing done.

That is bullsh!t. He can see the baby without being with her. He needs to go to court and file for visitation. If he truly loves you he wont leave you.
