It depends on what you believe. If you belive we are all just animals going about our lives trying to survive long enough to reproduce then no, our lives are pretty much insignificant. On the other hand if you belive we are created beings, living in a world created for us and and that this creator desires a relationship with us then i would say life becomes of huge importance. The question then becomes not whether life is important but what we do with it.
Thats what i think anyway. Cheers

Found out first, what the word 'important' means to you and then see what is not important in your life.

you are a living person asking other living persons .. the answer has to be yes it is important by the intrinsic yardstick.
is it the most important thing? even setting religion aside (I am atheist) there are very old traditions that a good death is more important than a good life. why does this ring such a bell :
"this is a far far better answer than I have ever given before"

Of course. What's more important is the quality of life. How many people are happy with their position in life and the control they have over it?
The quality of life is just as important as life its self.

yes, life is important because we all have one life and we must make sure we make the most out of that one life, as much as possible before we past away. life is what you make of it, life is what i make of it, we get to decide our own fate and we are able to determine what happens in our life and what course of action we ought to take. if we didn't have a life, then there wouldn't a purpose for living and doing the things that we do and looking at life based on our experiences, the people we meet and the knowledge that we already acquire and the knowledge that needs to be acquired

it's the most important thing,untill..one faces one of the greatest challenges in life(most people dont) then it falls down in importance compared to the lives of those u love, sometimes it's the life of ur principles or ur homeland.
some value it over money & some dont.still while not put in risk humans tend to forget how valuable it is

Life is not important, it is the soul that within that is important.
Can you live a truly meaningless life no matter what you do.

It depends what you do with your life. In some countries life is very cheap but, I am sure, that yours is very important and that you will make the most of your time on earth. Good luck!

Yes, because you get to do things you like, like spendign time with your friends and family. life is also precious too and important in my opinion. You got to make the most of it and be postive in my opinion. However, im my opinion death is not something to be scared of as i'm a christian and believe that you will go to heaven
