criket. my wife wants to know how we beat scotland in the world cup?

how could they let scotland play. surely if the batsmen stood in front of the stumps their kilts would block the stumps making it impossible to bowl them out. my wife does't watch cricket very often

You can not block the wickets. If the ball is going into stamps and you block it with your legs, YOU ARE OUT :)
