Ha. I couldn’t watch the end, never seen anything so pathetic… sad really.

One of the worst football squads in the history of the game and amazingly in the premiership and not in the relegation zone.

I feel sorry for Newcastle supporters, the team they have now is awful beyond words.

Added for Olliemort:

Here is who I would get rid of and keep from that team...

Given (Keep him)
Bramble (Worst defender to ever play)
Taylor (Should have been sent off, hardly a premiership player)
Huntington (Who? Who? Premiership football and Who?)
Solano (Time to go mate)
Dyer (Quality, keep him)
Butt (No longer the player he was, get rid)
Parker (This is the captain, this is a dud. Get rid)
Duff (Quality, keep him)
Sibierski (Once again, this is the premiership not Div.1)
Martins (God awful, plain god awful. Can't even position himself on the field - always offside)

This is the squad, and 3 out of 11 are actually good. Its time for a mass clearout and soon.

Newcastle has just caught the injury plague. On paper, they have probably the 5th best team in the Prem. Here's what they need to do: Get Owen healthy so he and Martins can do their thing. That would be one magic combination. Improve your defense. Sign Gooch, he's gonna be a great defender one day. Finally, get rid of Solano. I know he's been at Newcastle for forever and he's got tons of experience, but honestly, he's like 92 now right? Get fresher legs in the Central Midfield and you got yourself a European contending squad.

I couldn't believe what I watched. Taylor was lucky not to be sent off for a blatant elbow, and they were just hopeless. I feel sorry for the fans, its not Roeder's fault but the clowns who have given and spent money on jokes like Luque, Boumsong, Marcelino etc. There's the basis of a good team there with Given, Duff, Parker, Martins and Emre with a few promising youngsters but they need a back 4 as soon as......

As a neutral, after seeing that thug Nicky Butt kick the defender near the end of the game, and Taylor's deliberate elbowing and general cheating I was SO happy Newcastle went out.

Newcastle were a disgrace and deserved no better than they got.

Well, that's part of any competition involving two sides wanting to come up with a win.

They did their best unfortunately the lacked one thing which is luck.

Thanx!
