when you like a team i love the new york yankees they say you only like the team becuase of a certain gut and the guys in the yankees they say i like the team because of arod and derek jeter there cute but i like the yankees because of the yankees im a true fan i watch every game i cheer for them i yeall and ive even cried for the yankees i know many things about the yankees im proud to be a yankee fan personally i dont care if people think i like the guys they can all go to hell :]

I hear ya. I've been a baseball fan since I was 8 or 9 and Jose Canseco was my fave back then (1989 - before all the scandal) I didn't even think about cute guys until I was about 12, but I always got accused of having a crush on Jose. I just didn't get it. I too love the game. I even was a huge A-Rod fan when he was here in Seattle. He was a great ballplayer who just happened to also be extremely beautiful. That was never the issue for me though. Just icing on the cake. Maybe the guys are just jealous that we can enjoy the game on multiple levels and there's no cheerleaders for them to ogle. :)

Glad to have you as a fellow Yankee fan. Don't worry about what anyone says. I have been a Yankees fan for 30 years. I have taken alot of crap from people over the years. I am proud to be a fan of the Bombers. You should be proud too. You sound like you are. Go Yankees. We will win championship # 27 this year.

Be proud of the yankees no matter if they win or lose they will always be your team. Ive been a yankee fan for the pass 26 years ive been there for the best of times (96,98,99,00) and worst of times ( most of the 80's and some 90's95,97,01,02,03,04,05,06) and to top it off now i live near boston

Stand your ground, those guys are morons. If they knew what was good for themselves they'd love to have a lady or many ladies who like baseball, for baseball and like to discus baseball. Women can give different perspectives on anything in life, that includes baseball and the NY Yankees. Be Proud of your Yankee fandom many people are wishy-washy who root for their teams, stay true!

i agree with u totally im also a fan of baseball but im more of a cubs fan. u make a great point and most guys r such idiots yes there r girls that like a team for just the cute players but there r other girls who like the team as a hole besides just the cute players come on guys get over it.

You're a Yanks fan and you stand up for A-Rod that can only mean you like him for his looks because there is no other reason to like him. He complains too much, makes way too much money, and worst of all he can't even get a hit in the playoffs.
