Hi there,
My computer has crashed twice now so let me try this again, again!
First remember if a person doesn't understand how to be kind with their words it is because they are lacking something.
I don't know one women who wasn't tired during the first four months. This is actually your body working full speed ahead to nurture and grow a child inside of you! Sleep as you are able and continue to be active when your awake.
Walking is a great way to stay in shape and will help with making labor easier as it strengthens those lower abdomen muscles. Don't over do it though. When you feel pain stop and rest or before.
If your craving sugar then eat it because your body must need the fat. Eat a healthy breakfast ,lunch and dinner too. Taking pre-natal vitamins will prevent birth defects and give you more energy.
It's ok to sleep on your stomach as long as you are comfortable. Getting in the habit of sleeping on your left side is great because your liver will function better in a crowded enviroment.
Do not take hot baths or go into hot tubs. This will cause over heating called hyperthermia, plus they are a breeding ground for bacteria.
If you can take a calcium supplement or get enough of it from the foods you eat then you can avoid the milk products. Do eat some now again, ecspacially cheese because it sounds like you need the fat. (ice cream)
Take care!

Congrats, its exciting to think you have a baby growing, no matter what age you are.
Its completely normal to be tired all the time, your body is doing huge things which can leave you feeling run down, its fine to sleep, but try not to sleep all the time!
If you are craving sugar, there is something there that you may need. However instead of chocolate or ice cream, try to go natural, like fruit and juice.
When it gets really bad to sleep on your stomach it will become way to uncomfortable to do, you cant help the wyay you sleep, but it will end u p that you wont be able to anymore.
I know you arent supposed to have hot showers and baths in early pregnancy, coz the baby cant do anything about temperature changes, so I would guess the same would apply for a hot tub.
The baby needs calcium which is mainly in milk products, however you can get pregnancy multivitamins that have all that stuff in them. Milk is good for teeth though! (what you dont have enough to supply the baby with it will just take yours, thats why lot of pregnant women get toothaches and cavities)
Its not unusual to get tightening muscles, but if it concerns you talk to the doctor about it

Yes your body needs it, taking a prenatal vitamin should help with the fatigue.
Im always craving sugary foods and i never had beforre, is it ok for me to eat them?
It is ok to eat a little but the more weight you gain the harder delivery can be. Plus there is little nutrients in these foods and that is what the baby needs.
I still sleep on my stomach, is that ok?
Not anymore, too much going on in there now.
I read somewhere that your not suppse to have any extra heat goin on with your body, does that mean no hot tubs?
No, no hot tubs and no long soaks in a Really hot bath.
Im not a fan of milk products, do i have to start taking them?
Yes, as much as you can get. The baby will take the calcium from your bone stores if you don't injest enough to satisfy the needs of the growing fetus.
Sometimes after walking for awhile my stomach muscles starten to tighten then hurt, is that normal?
Yes, you are doing too much, relax and take it easy. It is however important for you to exersize. If you normally walk 3 miles walk one and as time goes on you may have to decrease it again.
Best of luck with your pregnancy and the task of parenting ahead of you!

First, get a good obstetrician to whom you can ask these questions – way better than Yahoo Answers for this type of thing.
Then…
1) Sleep all you want or are allowed. Once the baby arrives, sleep will be much harder to come by.
2) While it won’t necessarily hurt you or the baby to dine on sugar filled snacks, we both know that they are not good for you or the baby.
3) When you shouldn’t sleep on your stomach anymore, you will know – it hurts.
4) Hot tubs are not a great idea for pregnant women, but that may depend some on temperature and duration of stay.
5) There are other sources of calcium than milk products (yuk). Take Tums or buy calcium fortified orange juice.
6) On the stomach muscles, I would wonder if that is just normal “stitch in your side” type of muscle tightness that you would ignore under normal circumstances…

sleep on your stomach while you can, because that was the one thing i missed the most when I was pregnant, stop doing it around 4 months. And it is very normal to be tired, I could hardly keep my eyes open half the time, get as much sleep as you can, you will need it when the caby comes. Yes, you can eat sugary food when you crave them, just don't go crazy the baby needs healthy food to develop nice and healthy. If you don't like milk, try yogurt and cheese (but not too much cheese, you will probably get constipated soon, it is normal) you need dairy products, make sure you take a prenatal vitamin, like Materna. And lastly yes it is normal for your tummy muscles to hurt, they are stretching. Oh yeah, no hot tubs. Take good care of yourself, you sound like you will be a great mommy. It is good that the father is in your life. Don't listen to negative people, on here or anywhere else. Just be the best mother you can be. Good Luck!!!

Good luck honey! Stay strong.
It is perfectly fine to sleep. Your body will tell you what it needs and if you are tired all the time--then sleep.
I would try to limit the sugar filled foods. I think if you are craving something it is better to have it in small doses so the cravings go away because the more you try to replace the craving the more you will eat---blah, blah, blah.
I would avoid hot tubs while pregnant. A hot bath or shower usually sent me to the toilet throwing up.
I hate milk as well! I got by on eating Tums with calcium and extra cheese. Anything that says added calcium will make up the difference for milk.
At 2 months pregnant you should not be having any severe cramping. You will notice the difference in the cramping if something is wrong. It is your body adjusting to carrying a baby, and since you are young, and I would assume "fit" you will notice more subtle changes as your body adjusts.
(I won't judge you for being young--we all have made bad judgements in the past.)
However, please finish school. Do not drop out and think you can get by with a GED. You and your child deserve a life better than a GED can give.

You need to get yourself a couple of good reference books or magazines on being pregnant, 'cos you're going to have lots of questions in the next few months (some of which your mom might be able to answer). But yes, you will feel tired; yes, you will have food cravings - pity it's sugar because you don't want to put on unnecessary flab; sleep however you feel comfortable; if you have the bathwater very hot you might feel uncomfortable, but don't worry otherwise; you don't necessarily need to start taking milk products but you *do* need to take calcium supplements (talk to your doctor) - in the old days there was a saying that women lost one tooth for each baby, because baby makes first claim on any calcium you happen to have going; keep exercising, but not to the point where you start to feel uncomfortable.
Be a loving mother - sounds like you're heading that way - and keep the love alive between yourself and the father because you could get preoccupied with your own body's changes and accidentally leave him out, and I'd feel sad if your baby didn't have the father as a full part of his life.
You've taken some risks by having your baby so young, but everybody takes risks at whatever age; at least you're young, strong, and healthy. If you can, try to keep up with your studies. Have a happy life.

It's perfectly normal for you to be tired. You are still growing, and your baby is growing. Both of you need extra rest and nutrition right now. Nap away!
You can eat sugary foods in moderation.
At 2 months, you can still sleep on your stomach. The baby is protected by amniotic fluid. Another month or two, and it will become uncomfortable. Most doctors recommend that you sleep on your side while pregnant.
No hot tubs! Some doctors even recommend that pregnant women not take warm baths.
You need calcium and protein. You can get calcium in vitamin supplements. As long as you are taking a prenatal vitamin and are eating meat, you should be ok.
The muscles in your stomach are doing things that they have never done before. They are supporting a uterus that is growing and expanding. It's normal to have muscle cramps and pain in that area. Make a note of when you start hurting, and cut your walk just short of that next time.
I am glad that you are doing your best to be responsible for yourself and your baby. I hope your parents are supportive! Best of luck to you and the little one!
