Yes, does it vever. A couple of weeks before I start my mood is changing constantly. I can be crying one second and then the next I want to tear someones head off. It is kind of scary because I feel like I have no control over it and I get depressed. I am by no means using it as an excuse but pms is very real I know because it affects me. It is just a part of life and it depends on the woman or young lady. I can say from experience that yes my moods fluctuate.

I'm wierd. No mood changes for me, according to my friends and family. And I'm peri-menopausal now. They all say I seem to be even more level than before. Go figure. But ... the majority of my girlfriends it's a different story, or so they tell me. I do notice a difference in their mood swings though when the cycles are coming around. It's not nearly as bad as they think it is.
P.S. I just read Peta G's reply. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Thx.

Honey...you have no idea how much my mood changes around that horrid time of the month!!! Sometimes almost two weeks in advance I become very angry. Anything will set me off, and I hate it, but it's so hard to control what you are feeling. I think a lot of women get similar symptoms, at least most of them I know. :)

Yes, I feel very short tempered. My doctor just put me on a med to help with this. It is actually a birth control pill but says that it will decrease the mood changes.

Yes.
Your body is producing more hormones during your period and a day or two before it. You might tend to become more touchy and sensitive to things. And you might also tend to get upset and angry a bit more often.
