Kudos to you for making this difficult decision! I give thanks every day for the decision my son's biological parents made so that we could become a family.

That depends on what type of adoption you want. If you want an adoption by strangers, then your best bet would be to contact an adoption agency or an adoption attorney in your area. If you want to have someone that you have already selected, like a family member or friend adopt the child, then you would need to go through an attorney and have the paperwork filed with the courts. Another option would be to look at newspapers and magazines classifieds section, where potential adoptive parents sometimes place ads with their phone numbers looking for people just like you. If the father is known and is contactable, you will also need his approval to place the child up for adoption. On a side note, I want you to know that this is a very courageous thing that you are considering here. I really admire you for it.

Why do you want to give up your blessing from God? Is it because you are afraid that you can not give her the life she deserves? Well, just remember you are lucky to have the baby and I will pray you find a good family for her. I feel sad when I hear about mothers and adoption. I know someone interested in adopting a baby if you would like to contact me.please.

I gave two children up for adoption. Pray about it, if you are a praying person. Then, find a reputable agency. I did that. I have an open adoption and see my kids at least once a year. Look in your phone book or local newspaper. Check out agencies on the website also.

SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR DESCION AND WHOM HE OR SHE CAN REFER YOU TO. You can also check with the hospital you are delivering at and speak to a social worker or someone who can help you. I would not pick somone out of the paper. Try an agency you can have an open adoption also that way if you like you can see your baby. Use your computer to try searches. And please do all your homework before you make a huge descion on who is going to raise your child. Why do you want to put the baby up for adoption? My husband and I would love to adopt 1 day. We have 3 beautiful kids and would love another. Good luck. I was a teenager mother with my 1st son. He is now 17 and I am 34. If you need to speak to someone please feel free to email me wojostephanie. Good luck

OKay first you need to go to counseling. Not being mean but because some mothers give the baby up and then want them back after. Then get in contact with an adoption agency. But do research first. here are some site about it

What a wonderful thing to do! You are a really caring person!
There are open adoptions, as well as closed adoptions, Catholic Social services can help you...they can also help you with medical care, a place to live, clothing..etc.. All you need to do is call or go to the closest Catholic church, and talk to someone there.
You are a very strong and loving person, and I wish you ALL the best life has to offer!

You would have to go to your local adoption center, or try looking something up online, and see if you can get some advice here. I also know you can do an open adoption which means ppl will send you pictures of them and tell you about them and wait for you to pick the best family for your baby! i would also concider asking your dr for information about all of this too! they should be able to help you or set you up with an "agent"! good luck i hope this helps you!

Brandie

P.S. i give you alot of credit for this!
