How are Hydrogen atoms moved from the light to the light-independent reactions?

They are attached to the NADP+ which is a hydrogen ion carrier. It's rather like a wheelbarrow, in that it takes H+ to the light-independent reactions, dumps them off to help power the reactions, and goes back to the thylakoid membrane to pick up some more H+.
