My sister is my absolute bestest friend ever!!! And i am absolutely broke! I need ideas? What should i do?

Tell her that you value memories more than gifts, so you decided this year to make a memory with her instead. Take her out and just have fun! Go to a local park and go "guy scouting" or... take her to the mall to spend that birthday money from grandma. haha I don't know, be creative! Making memories have been some of the best gifts I have ever had!

No problem.. did this with a friend before, it was Christmas and we were both broke. We each got each other a card and cut pictures out of magazines of things we would buy each other if we were rich and put them in the card. It was great, I got a corvette, a boat and a Rolex and a new suit.
If you don't have money even for a card, just make one.
The only card I have saved ever is the one my girlfriend made for me.

Don't sweat it! Make her something nice or go somewhere (A park, The museum, you know). I'm sure she'll understand, plus its a chance for you guys to catch up on things. If you're absolutely fixed on buying her something, why not earn a little money by mowing lawns or something?

Give her an IOU because as your best friend she probably understands your situation and if not you can always surf the web for penny auctions that have like really cute stuff that isn't too pricey. Try ebay or policeauctions.com!

You don't need money to tell her how you feel for her. There are so many ways....
Write something deep for her, make a drawing for her, leave a nice message on her phone, walk with her to her favorite place, play a meaningful game with her, hug her and kiss her.

another question about being broke at b-day time, let me guess; these posters will tell you to make a dorky homemade card.
how about you look in the mirrow and tell yourself that it was no surprise her b-day was coming--to make a new year's resolution to put other's first, [ its not too late for that]
and then borrow some quick cash to buy her something she'd really like, after all it's about her.

my son made a coupon book for me, it had stuff like... washing the car, mowing the lawn, he had a coupon for "accompany dad to the movies" cute lol.
