Hardly anything since I grew up in New England. The biggest thing I can remember was Hurricane Gloria back in 1985 when I was 7. I was terrified and I sat on the staircase and rocked back and forth. Our house was surrounded by huge trees on every side and I was afraid they were all going to fall over and crash through the house. I figured the stairs in the center of the house was the safest place. There wasn't much damage after that storm, we only lost half of 2 trees and nothing hit the house. They had hyped it up so much beforehand that I was really scared though.

Probably a tornado. I know that I have never been near an earthquake or hurricane. I was told that I was near a tornado as a baby. We get regular storms, so tornados are a very real possibility.

I've lived in L.A. all my life and have gone through at least 10 earthquakes -- no other disasters. They've all been like a roller coaster -- scary, but then fun after a while. Cool to get out of school and work because of them.

I once was buring in an avalanche for 48 hours. I survived by eating snow and lichen with my plastic spoon. If it wasn't for the excellent sniffing skills of my dog, Stallion, I would have been worm food for sure.

Even now the frostbite has claimed my toes and I have a prosthetic buttock.

I am happy to be alive in any event.

I was on a cruise to Santander and we hit the tornado which was like the only one that the UK ever experiences. Bad grammar there.. oh well.
I got thrown out of bed and was sick lots and lots. Good first time abroad for me :)

1995 Flood, for some odd reason it flooded around our rental. WE had NO water but all around us the houses were flooded up to their front porch about to go inside their 1st level. It felt weird to be in the center of so much water. I wanted to panic due to not being able to escape but I kept calm knowing we only got 6 inches in the basement from the dirt around it (seaped thru the walls/floor, not thru the windows). We were lucky compared to all our neighbors! I hate floods! Very scary!
