Since I knit and crochet, I personally wouldn't buy one unless it was extraordinary. However, I know that many people still appreciate the craft and would buy handmade items. If you don't want to do the craft fair thing, perhaps you could list them on ebay or etsy. It's worth a try. If not, there are a lot of charities that would just love to have them.

Pick up a portable clothes hanging {large as possible} and try to sell them, on nice days, as a yard sale. Be sure to pre-label them with their price. I love crocheting and respect all the work, love that is put into each item. People don't seem to have the time for it any more. Hand made things are special. Good luck to you and do keep up the good work.

Blankets are difficult to sell. Baby blankets will seel alot easier than adult size, and kid themed stuff will sell a bit too. I usually just stick to doing smaller stuff, like fridgies, bookmarks, and toys. Good luck. Happy crocheting. : )

Hi Hope, I do a lot of crocheting and sell on ebay. It has been my experience that crocheted blankets/afghans do not sell well. I have never understood why but they don't.You might try one on ebay, if it didn't sell, at least you would not have lost a lot.

uh, sorry. No. In the old days a crocheted item was sent, and usually received, as a token of love and a lot of time spent. With the advent of modern clothing/knitting/weaving technology, it just ain't gonna happen. It won't be profitable. BUT---as gifts, they are still sometimes recognized as a token of lots of love and time spent----all the best, Brian

I love them and appreciate the work that goes into them but I know they are kind of out of vogue due to these throws people are buying. If you made them in kind of jewel colors you might have a better chance, or colors of nature. You could call them exotic names like garnet, saphire, amythyst, or London Fog, Peat, Sand, Fire, Pepper, Copper etc for the natural line. Lets see what other people say. Good Luck

I think they will sell. Maybe take them to a craft show first see how well they sell, and then if you have alot of luck, start your own website.

I manage a church thrift store. People donate new ones frequently and we can't hardly give them away. They were popular once but not any more.
