I think people are into gossip because they are sad with their lives and they like to talk about other people. Misery loves Company. People use gossip just to bring other people down, basically they are just jealous.

I think people are into gossip because they are jealous of all those celebrities. They should be worried about their lives, not some stranger who is a multi-millionaire. The poeple are influenced by it and therefore keep reading it and imitating it. It is just ridiculous in my opinion. I'd rather think about my life than a celeb for sure.

do not forget that lots of celebrities are snobby and spit on their fans. That is how you get them back - gossip about them!
