Given that you classified your question under 'arts and crafts' I take it that services like baby-sitting are out?

Can you create greeting cards on your computer? Especially if you've got your own photographs and a few wise words to add to each?

Little silk flower arrangements - you can get silk flowers on eBay, for example - tie them up with a paper doily and pretty ribbon.

Glue small silk flowers onto greeting cards and sell them as cards to go with gifts.

Buy plain basic massage oil (you can get it in quantity) and add essence - mixed rose and jasmin is very nice - and decant into smaller bottles.

Get some summer-flowering bulbs (I assume you're northern hemisphere), shallow bowls, and bulb planting mixture plus gravel and make small portable gardens - be sure to include a plan and care instructions.

If you want to e-mail me direct I'll try sending you 10-12 photographs of roses with thoughtful mottoes that you can adapt at will.

Hope some ideas spark ...

I'm also not sure just what a "favours auction" is. If it's a bit more formal, buy some stretchy cord and some beads and string a few bracelets. These take very little 'talent' or skills -- other than being able to match colors and aim beads onto a cord -- yet come out looking very pretty. You can usually charge 2-3 times what you paid in supplies and easily get it for these.

If it's less formal, sure, do the pudding thing. That sounds like fun. Or, go to the bakery and buy some nice biscuits. Put two or three together in a small bag and add a pretty ribbon (red, of course, for red nose day.) Voila! Salable baked goods for those who don't bake! This also works well with small sweets, too.

If it's really informal, you could always offer hugs, shoulder rubs, etc.

Offer to take a family or child's portrait.
Buy a plant from Walmart and divide it between smaller pots or grow something like parsley and herbs in little pots and sell them.
Offer to detail someone's car, give it to the highest bidder.
Have a silent auction for something you no longer need

Bake. Then, when it's time to collect money for the cause, sing until they pay you to stop. Be a good sport and have a good time---all the best, Brian

go out and buy a bunch of boxes of J-ello instant chocolate pudding. even if you can't bake you can make that . buy whipped cream. pour some pudding into little plastic cups top off with some whipped cream and maybe chocolate sprinkles . its easy looks cute, and is homemade even for those who can't cook. good luck.
