Greet the customer when they walk in the door with a nice smile and warm welcome. Find out their needs and do your best to seat them when you say you will.

DON'T stand around ignorning people when they come in. DON'T talk to other workers and leave customers waiting for you to finish your conversation. DON'T chew gum and act like the customer OWES you something.

Nothing annoys me more than walking into an establishment and be greeted by a worthless excuse of a human that figures they are getting a paycheck either way so who really cares that the customer is the one paying that check for them!

Best of Luck!! Ü

Smile alot and always ask how they are. I hate when a hostess looks at me like my being there is a hassle, because she or he was talking to a coworker or on the phone.
