Which phone you have?. If it is a nokia 60 series try one wonderful software, advanced call manger. The beauty is that your phone will either cut it or will give a busy tone at the calling end. The cracked version is available for free from www.mobango.com or www.mobilust.net

You can do it, but some plans don't let you. Some phones like the new RAZR (IZAR V3xx) have this feature built in. Your best bet is to go to your carrier's website and look for it under extras or accessories or services or whatever.
