Any suggestions, should I go pro, at home, at all? Is it safe?

It's safe. But I'd go pro anyway. Way easier on the arms!

You CAN dye your hair! Anything you hear about chemicals soaking through your scalp and harming the baby is just an old wives' tale. My doctor says his only concern is the fumes, if you're using a dye with ammonia. It could make mommy nauseous, or too much fume with too little oxygen could be a problem for baby, who needs fresh oxygen all the time. But he said if I dyed it with ammonia-free dye in a well-ventilated area I'd be fine. I'd go for a professional dye job, though...just pamper yourself! You deserve it!

They usually say that any time after 12 weeks is the safest time to get your hair colored. You should be fine pro or at home.

it is okay to get highlights and stuff just make sure they don't put the color on your roots. They should stay away from your roots! or at least make sure you tell them your pregnant, if the person is to afraid to do them they will turn you away! i hope this helps good luck

its totally safe dont worry about it. My dr. told me it was fine as long as you were exposed to alot of fresh air. So if you do it yourself go outside or turn on a fan. personally ive done mine myself my entire pregnancy and theres not been any problems.

Its perfectly safe...dye's etc have changed a lot. I did my own when I was pregnant.

You shouldn't expose the fetus to any hair chemicals.
