AS of now we are spraying our clothes with our main men's cologne "Fierce" but it was recently the men's cologne "Proof". We actually have a small spray bottle behind the counter and we spray the clothes every hour. To be exact we spray the mannequins 3 times and each table of clothes 3 times...
Actually I think we sell more "Fierce" than anything else! I even have girls come in to buy it for themselves....I love it and my boyfriend wears it too!

Before the store opens, the clothes are sprayed with Abercrombie's signature fragrance called "Fierce". It's a marketing strategy to make people want to buy the cologne. You will notice that when you purchase your clothes, the employee will usually ask you if you have tried the fragrance.

I have heard that they have a spray bottle with a blend of their fragrances that employees sprays on all of the clothing. This is common practice for many stores that also carry their own fragrances. Since you smell the scent when you're shopping, and shopping makes you happy, the scent is mentally connected to those happy shopping feelings. Good marketing.

its not really a perfume....its just the products (clothes) have the awesomley new smell

You can buy their scent at their stores and that is what is sprayed around the stores. My firend told me, she used to work their!
