If this was to be done would it be a slap in footballs face to see that they are looking to make the game similar to that of the MLS in years past?

I think its only the Football Leagues doing that, not the Prem or the Championship. A shoot-out is a horrible way to decide a regular match, It comes down to one skill out of hundreds in the game, and luck. Split the points, or you might give a team that got lucky 3 points instead of 1.

I think it's a horrible decision. The one point for a draw works well now so there's no reason to change. Penalties are bad cuz all teams would do is hold out for a draw, and then try to win it on penalties.

no, terrible idea. a draw is a draw, so split the points. no need to force a winner. if you cant win in regulation, you shouldnt win on penalties.


also, penalties are based on luck most of the time for the keeper.

Its a totally stupid, insane idea and just goes to prove that the FA is staffed by idiots and morons .

If it ever happens, I'll go and watch rugby instead.
