After having lived in NY for a few years, it is a long one. The NY suburbs is filled with arrogant snobs who think they are all that. They value superficial things and look down on people. It festers like a disease.

And you feel that we should be governed by a Republican in office without a God in his heart (because you won't find God in either party). Oh sure, they will be happy to use God's name to get the votes of those who are gullible enough to believe that our leaders believe in God. But it doesn't take a pundit to see they are overly ambitious creatures who have no compunction about using your own beliefs against you.
The Bible made it quite clear that no (absolutely no) government on Earth is with God, and that the "Whole World" is lying in the power of the Wicked One. Forget them and stick with God with Jesus as his King (or President, or any other leader title you'd like as long as it is Jesus and not a imperfect human).

What a silly thing to say. Thanks for the laugh.
I think it would be quite refreshing to see a New Yorker in the White House for a change.

Lynn, who are you to judge who has god in their heart or not? You need to stop judging people whether they are christian or not. and, please don't expect people to believe like you do. You right wingers need to accept the fact there is diversity in this country of thought, beliefs and political beliefs. BTW, GWB is not god. Grow up.
You haven't proven that secular Progressive Americans hate this country. You haven't named one thing they have done. They haven't bombed our country. You spread nothing but hate and lies. What god do you mean then. Again, you name a god, but you still judge whether they believe in a god or not. I'm a Progressive Christian liberal who believes our country's laws and institutions shouuld remain secular and that they are strongest when they are. It is you who hates our country's heretage of secularism and enlightenment. It is you who hates our country's institutions and loathes democracy.

That doesn't make sense. Since when has a Republican ever had God in their heart?

a republican in office most often leads to disaster esp. with our current presidential office and many New Yorker's believe in god. just because their god isn't named George Bush doesn' mean they don't have one.
