I assume you are giveing up bay for rollins. I would say this is a bad trade.
Rollins has been a roller coaster his entire carrer. He does really good and then he sucks really badly. And as a SS he is the 4th-5th rated one...
Now on the other side you have Bay who is up and comeing. Every year is getting better. and he hits for Avg hits homers gets Stolen bases and gets a bunch of runs. He is a higher rank than rollins.
I would keep Bay... And try to get another SS on waivers. (drew, renteria) Either that or make a better trade. Have him add an OF

If you got Jimmy Rollins, good for you. There's so much depth you can get in the outfield, but limits at SS, C, etc. This is the year Rollins goes all out. I think Bay has peaked fantasy wise.

It depends on your team. The outfield is a three-man position where shortstop is one a one-man position. In the outfield for fantasy baseball you can have one weak player. So, if you have two other strong players its ok to have a weak third outfielder. And Jimmy Rollins is like the No. 4 SS in fantasy baseball. So, I would say it was a good trade.

people consider these 2 about equal, I think if you got Rollins you are better off, he plays in a better offense, a hitter's park, and puts stats up in 5 categories. bay does not steal and his average is not as high (from what I remember), so I think Rollins is the better guy to have.
It also depends on who your other outfielders are....if you don't have any other alternatives this might not be wise.

It depends on your team but I would say whoever got Bay won. Bay hits for more power rbis and I am pretty sure a better average. He is one of the top OF. Rollins is worse in all categories except Steals doubles and triples if your league counts them. Unless you had 3 better OF I would say you lost.

unless you've already got Manny, Carlos Lee, or Hideki Matsui... i'd say........ NO!
Bay's more crucial to your team than Rollins could be.. plus ShortStop has a little more depth than LeftField. But if your league only consists of OutField positions, not RF, CF, LF.. then it could have been a good trade for you, bcus you might not need a LF at all. Still though.. Bay's worth more in my book.

If u traded bay for rollins, u need 2 make up for it. If u got bay, great for u. Bay hits more ribbies, homers, and has a great arm.
