I don't suppose you or anyone from your "group" has ever tried getting to know more about the so-called clingy girl? Probably not.....it's much easier to hate someone than to try and understand them..isn't it? Maybe she doesn't have a loving family or perhaps she feels like she's alone in the world.
Maybe when you and your friends grow up you will learn to take time to understand someone and why they act the way they do before you just toss them aside like a piece of garbage!

That is a difficult situation you seem to be it, as I'm sure you know. Having dealt with similar problems, my advice is to bring this up to the girl. Explain to her that she has been getting a bit too clingy and that sometimes, friends need to do different things. Point out that you both are still friends with her, but just that there needs to be space in the relationship. I hope whatever you decide to do turns out for the best.

OMG I have expirenced this for ages!
One girl I had to be stuck with was stuck with me for two years. Me and my two other friends couldn't shake her off and she thought that we liked her. She always asked to go in our group and would never leave us alone even though we wanted a private talk without her.
In the end we got fed up and said to her face that we couldn't stand her and she was so annoying and we really wished that she would just leave us alone.
It worked! It was rude but it slapped her into shape. Since then she avoided us whenever she could.
Thing was, that nobody else liked her and they were all in huge groups so there was never any room for her to be in a group with them. So whether we liked it or not, she was almost always stuck with us.
Another girl, we just kept trying to avoid. In the end she was smart enough to get the idea that we hated her, so she went with other people. Thing is, she is also hated by everybody so nobody wants to be in the same group as her, so we were always stuck with her.
I'm always in a trio you see. I have two other friends with me. One good tip to make sure you don't end up with the person you hate is to be in a group of four or more. That way, it's harder for her to get into your group and you won't be stuck with her as much.
It's hard not to be mean to somebody you don't like. You could try telling her polietly that she isn't wanted, or try to make her be friends with somebody else. I don't think they're that effective though. To make sure something is done properly, you have to be sure, and to be sure, you have to be hard. So you might have to upset her a bit to make her realise she isn't wanted. You will upset her whatever you do to get away from her.
If she's not popular with the rest of the class, you might be stuck with her for ages, and I can't help you there.
Don't worry ^^ I've experienced it before and I'm still experiencing it now ^^
There are loads of people experiencing that too.
Hope it helps ^^

Don't ditch her to please your other friend. Friends are often jealous of their friends' other friends, and I think I would actually lose respect for a friend who ditched her other friends for me, even if it's what I secretly wanted.
Instead of being antisocial and devastating the clingy girl, try to respectfully establish some boundaries with her (without actually using the "boundary" word, because it's sort of offensive). If she doesn't like it, she'll leave on her own.
One thing that draws people together is ganging up on weaker people. It takes much more strength of character to resist that way of being, but it is worth it.

Just talk to her about the situation. Tell her you're not feeling like her and you are getting along, and before it turns into a big mess you should all just take time apart. Its hard not to hurt someone's feelings by rejecting them into your group, but you gotta do what cha gotta do. If you dont like someone, why should you sit there pretending you do? It'll only make it worse.

pick your nose in front of her and pull your finger out slowly bringing the big, wet booger out with it so by the time your finger is about an inch or two away from your nose you have this slimly, runny booger making a bridge from your nose to your finger. Then for added effect stick your finger in your mouth. That ought to do it.

Nicely say that you and your friend are having a private conversation and would like some space. If she keeps being annoying, introduce her to some girls who will like her and/or a boyfriend. They will keep her busy.

next time, circulate as much as an exceedingly grotesque woman in front of her and supply the grotesque woman the comparable compliments. She'll understand that those words propose no longer something to you and he or she'll in all probability be indignant.
