Art is a conveyance of ideas and thoughts in the physical realm. We can not see thoughts or ideas inside another persons head. Art is when that person uses a medium to manifest his/her thoughts into the real world. We can think of the pain and suffering of a lost love, but we can convey it to many through art by say painting a picture, writing a song or a poem. The artist can sculpt of a bust of a woman with her mouth drawn in agony...these are just a few examples.

Wow that is a tough question. I have a broad appreciation of all kinds of different art. I love anything from Monet to the wonderful pictures my 6yo draws for me. I guess my definition is anything that I person does that includes creativity and something they've really put their 'heart' into.

for me art is a kind showing expression through drawing painting, making sculpture and many more that can be about arts, artist are great makers of arts...art is relevant to our feelings, art is something you can express by your talent...hand is the great material of art. art has many definition, but for me art is sharing thoughts and showing some kinds of ability that you can share to others

Whether it's music, song, poetry, sculpture or whatever... Art is the expression of emotion. If I look at it, read it or listen to it and it makes me feel something deep inside, then it meets my definition of art.

Art - is the ability to communicate one's intent to the viewer... more so, it's the ability to emotionally MOVE the viewer through this form of communication.
If it moves you - in any way - and it has no function other than to move you - it's art.

anything at all can be considered art.. it all depends on how you look at the world. it is a form of expression or interpretation.
