***In response to your reply, (since I can't seem to find the reply button) is: No. I have no idea what I'm asking. That's why I'm asking it!!! So you don't have to list all of them. A brief overview would be great, or a detailed explination of one or two of the topics.

The Arabs conquered Spain in 711, and Ferdinand and Isabela conquered the last Arab kingdom of Granada from an Arab ruler in 1492.

Europeans benefited from the Arab rule of Spain by having access to Arab and Greek science, literature, and philosophy. The Arabs had conquered the Middle East, Egypt, North Africa, and Spain by 711. They discovered Plato, Aristotle, and other Greek writers and translated them into Arabic.

About the same time, Europeans kept their reading knowledge of Latin, but they left off learning Greek. So about the year 1000, European scholars from France, Germany, and England began traveling South to Spain, learning Arabic, and translating Aristotle and Plato into Latin.

There is a good book and film called "The Name of the Rose," which supposes that Aristotle wrote a book about comedy in addition to his two books of tragedy that we actually have from the Arabic. In this story, the only reason that the book on comedy exists is that some one got a copy of the original Greek, and now some one is willing to commit murder to suppress it.

Are you kidding me? You want us to list their influence in art, math, science, arhitecture, etc... right here? Do you understand what you're asking?

EDIT: I like helping people on here, but you are asking for a lot of info. The Moors were in Spain for like 700 years.
